Home schoolers aren't lame, were actually pretty fast on our feet.

I am a home schooler. And ya know what? I love it. I get to do school work in my pajamas, I get to go to the zoo on week days, I get to go to the skate park when ever I want to. And I can learn anything I want to. I get to teach myself. I get to come up with classes for my self. My mom gives me the basics (Math, science, language arts, history, etc, etc) and I get to learn what I want in my spare time. How to draw fantasy creatures 101? I take it. beginners Animal anatomy? I take it. How to insult people in Latin?  I take it. Egyptian Hieroglyphs? I take it. Pottery? I take it. Home ecanomics? I take it, all day, every day. Yeah maybe I'm home schooled, But I'm getting a better education than any of  the kids in public school, I'm going to college at the age of fourteen. Maybe I can't tell you who the cutest movie star is (I'm not answering that), maybe I don't know what the coolest  movie is (hasn't come out yet), But who cares? I can tell you how iridescence works, I can tell you about all the best books, I can tell you who won the Mexican war. I could even explain the theory of evolution (not that I would want to, It's really pretty stupid. I mean hello, do I look like a monkey to you?) I do in fact know who Lady Gaga is. She's a freaky lady who like to were meat and five foot tall hats. Some of her songs are OK, but she's still a freak. I know a lot about music. Does anyone know P!nks first name? I do. It's Alecia Moore. Do you know The lyrics to Safe and Sound, Forget You, or So What? I do. Among many other songs, including: If I Die Young, Testify to Love, Firework, American Dream, and It's Your Life.   So see, Home schoolers aren't as secluded as you think we are. We're pretty good with popular stuff. Some of us are even famous. Vanessa Hudgens was home schooled. The Jonas brothers are home schooled,  C.S. Lewis was home schooled. Hillary Duff was home schooled. Bethany Hamilton was home schooled. The Duggars home school all of there kids. Lots of famous people are home schooled and lots of Home schoolers are very good at what they do. This is Bri π Bye! (oh, and this is part of my school work. Cool huh?)

I really hate when people refer to Public schools as "traditional" Whats traditional about sending your kids of for some one else to deal with? How does that raise good leaders. And how is it traditional?  How did the Pilgram kids get there education? Home schooling. How did the colonists kids get there education? Home schooling. There is nothing traditional about public schools. It''s just a way to glorify ignoring your children. (Sorry to people who do public school only as a last resort. It just ticks me off when people say things like that) What's the big deal people?  I mean people are so closed minded they totally ignore the facts about home schooling and let their feelings get in the way. It just ticks me off, you know? I mean whats great about the system our govenment uses? The public school system is another way to keep people in check. To make every one the same. (If you haven't noticed, the government ticks me off too) The government makes it so hard for people to do what they feel is right. You want to do home schooling in Washington? No! you must have a teacher help you teach your own child if your going to home school. How dumb is that? I think parents can teach there own kids. It's not that difficult. Grrrr. Sorry for all this anger and sorry if I insulted you. I justr really hate when people think I'm stupid because I'm home schooled or because I'm dyslexic. It's stupid for people to think that, and it's prejudice. Total idiocy. Bye Bri π

  1. Wow! I really agree. When people say that parents aren't smart enough to teach their own children, they're also admitting that the public schools doesn't do a good job of teaching. And also, I do think that parents are smart enough, and even if they're not, then they aren't the ones coming up with the curriculum, they choose what they want their kids to learn when and where, and teach the curriculum that they believe is best for the kids. It's custom made education. This is none of the government's business. They want control over what the kids think. Basically mind control. Scary, huh?

    1. That is pretty scary if you think about it. I guess this makes us conspiracy theorists. Well, It's better than believing every thing The government tells you. Also custom made is better than manufactured any way. Who want's a manufactured education? I sure don't! Talk about boring. (Oh and yes, area 51 really does exist, and no they don't keep aliens there, that's what area 52 is for) Bri π

  2. LOL. I don't think we're conspiracy theorists. Just opinionated people saying what we think. Teachers do have a huge impact on young minds. Why does the government think it necessary to put rules on lifestyle? --Meg

    1. Because then it's easier to make people believe them when they tell us lies. The abnormal people don't believe them, but the "normal" people do. What happened to we the people? We should be able to decide how we want to live. Not the government. "You can fool some of the people all the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time." I bet there's lots of things that the government keeps secret's from citizens. We have a right to know what the government does and why they do it.

    2. I also think that people shouldn't keep whats going on in the world from there children. I mean a Three year old DOES NOT need to know about alcohol and homicide but still, we're not as immature as you think we are. Often time's we really can handle the world, as long as you prepare us for it. One day this world will be ours to run. Don't you think you should show us the mistakes you have made so we don't repeat them? Suck up your pride and teach us from your mistakes. Answer our insistent questions, Explain what we want to know. Or else we'll fail. And that would suck. Big time.

    3. I am so with you on all of it. But what makes me mad is when your friends don't tell you things they learned at school because there scared you won't know what there talking about. I am not dumb!!! You can tell me what you learned! I probably already know about it and can tell you more about it!
