A List of Books You Need To Read Before They Come Out On The Silver Screen

Ok, so a lot of really good books are about to get made into movies. So I'm here to make a list of them for you to know what they are so  that you can read them before you see it. :)

1. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Cassandra Clare
In Modern day New York, Fifteen year old Clary discovers a secret world coexisting with our own.
I have read this book and I absolutely loved it!! It's a little Violent at times, and aside from a few kisses not to terribly intimate, I rate it PG-13. the Movie is Rated PG-13.
2. Divergent. Veronica Roth
In Dystopian Chicago, Beatrice Prior mus make a choice that will define the rest of her life.
I really loved this book, It is, again, a little violent at times, and there are a few Passionate scenes, but it's still an amazing book. I rate it PG-13. This film is not yet rated.(most likely PG-13)
3. Beautiful Creature. Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
Not much happens in Gatlin, a small town in South Carolina. Ethan is waiting for the day when He can finally leave. Until he meets the new girl who in not what she seems.
I read this book, and it is very good, It's a little dark, with lots of magic and romance. There is some violence in it. I rate it PG-13.  This film is not yet rated. (probably PG-13)
4. The Hobbit. J.R. Tolken
Bilbo Bagins gets caught up in a very unexpected adventure.
I read it, but didn't really like it. I found it to be rather dull, but Other people might like it, so go ahead and read it. I do want to see the movie though. I rate the book PG. Movie is Rated PG-13.
5. Matched, Allie Condie
Cassia is very excited for her Matching Banquet. This is the Day when she finds out who she will be married to. Every thing is going great. Until she falls in love with the wrong person.
This is one of my favorite Books. Matched is such a beautiful story of a girl who tastes freedom, and can't get enough.I have actually done a full review on this book if you want to go look for it. I rate the book PG. This film is not yet rated.
6. Delirium, Lauren Oliver
Lena is counting down the days to her birthday. That's when she will be cured. when she will be safe. safe from what? The horrible illness, Delirum Nervousa. Love.
This book was pretty good. Not as good as some of the other books I have read but still pretty good. It's not to terribly violent, and not terribly passionate. It reminded me a bit of Matched except with out the poems. I rate it PG. This film is not yet rated.
7. Maximum Ride, The Angel Experiment. James Patterson.
Max and her flock aren't Human. They are 98% human. The other two percent is bird, And it makes a big difference. Love the Maximum Ride saris, until I got up to about the sixth book. and it all went down hill from there. But the Angel experiment is very good. it's a kind of Violent, but thats about it. I rate it PG-13. This film is not yet rated.
8. The Hunger Games:  Catching Fire. Suzanne Collins
The continued story of Katniss and her friends and family as they try to survive life in Panem and deal with what happened in the arena. I enjoyed it, it was pretty good, but the first one was better. I would recommend reading the first book, before you read the second one. It's violent, and there's a bit of kissing and drinking I rate it PG-13. This film is not yet Rated. (definitly PG-13)

Now on to the books that I haven't read, but plan to or am slightly scared to, read before they come out as movies
1. The Host. (Alien parasites take over earth) Stephanie Myers
2. Warm Bodies (Zombies who fall in love) Issac Marion
3. 13 Reasons Why. (a young girl gives thirteen reasons for her suicide) Jay Asher
4. Les Miserables. (The french revolution) Victor Hugo
5. The Forest of Hands and Teeth. (zombies) Carrie Ryan
6. If I Stay (A girl is in a fatal car accident) Gayle Forman
7. Shiver. (Werewolves who fall in love) Maggie Stievater
8. Uglies (a society where everyone gets Plastic surgery to become Preties) Scott Westerfeild

And that is the conclusion of my list. I hope you find something to read! Bye! Bri π

Disproportianate Man and The Amazing Steampunk Ninja Spider

Ok, this is an artist ranting about the disproportionate-mess of beefy dudes. Not a love struck girl complaining about how much she has a crush on some football player. so if you want drama, go watch TNT. now on with my Rant.

Ok so beefy dudes. One word. Proportion! Honestly! Normal dude: Regular head, slight V shaped torso, slightly muscle-y arms (if teenage boy: Lanky!) small curve at the stomach, and normal sized, (and if a teen-age boy: lanky!) legs. beefy guys: Tiny head, huge shoulders and neck, ridiculously obtuse torso, Huge, vein-y, muscle-y arms, and stick thin legs. Which one sounds more proportionate? If you said normal person, you would be correct! Now, I'm not talking about Guys with muscle-y guys. Some muscle is Ok. I'm talking huge muscles, like body builders, and certain super heroes, and Bodyguard/butlers. Ok, done ranting now. I've been watching to much Super hero TV shows.

So to day at rehearsal, I was doing my spider scene, being scary and spidery in my steampunk/eighties costume with dangle legs. So I have to run off stage. So as I am running off stage, while crouching, I step on one of my dangling legs. I, being my amazing ninja self, trip, bounce of of a bench, do a judo roll, and manage to land on my feet, with out ruining my bustle(Victorian skirt thingie) and that was my amazing ninja/spider talents.

Angry Taco Man.

Boredom can result in the most unusual of creations. Such as Angry Taco Man. Yesterday me and my sisters were making lunch and discussing Marvel super heroes (betcha didn't see that coming) we were acting out various characters, and the others had to guess who it was. at one point JJ was doing something really weird, and I yelled "Angry Taco Man" that wasn't the answer (I don't remember what she was supposed to be) but we all started laughing about the Angry Taco Man.

In other news, Thursday I'm going to see Breaking Dawn Part 2. I'm going to go dressed as a shadowhunter. If you can figure out why I'm going dressed as a shadowhunter, then you win an imaginary cookie. If not, then no cookie for you. Also I'm half way done with my NaNoWriMo story. Yay! It's coming along. (Note I didn't specify how it's coming along)

Why do I READ?

Once I was asked why I read. Seriously. Someone asked me why I read. They said "I mean, reading is great, but why do you read all the time? I mean you have to put down the book and see things sometimes." no duh. I read because I can escape. I can escape life. Just for those glorious moments, I can fade into a book and read. I can see anything. I could go to Brittan in middle ages, I could go to North America in the future. I could even stay right in this time, anywhere in the world. That's why I read. Because I'm stuck. I am here and there is no way I can not be here by my self. except by reading. Unless I can satisfy this need to explore and have adventure, I will read. Because nothing else satisfies me. I read. Because I feel stuck here, I read. It's why I write too, I can make my onw little world, where I control it, where I can give myself a glorious adventure, I can give myself anything I want. so yeah, to all those who don't understand why someone is always reading or why they bother writing. That's why. Oh, and a quick tip: Never interrupt some one while they are reading. Unless you have a death wish, just leave them alone. Bri π

The Suck.

So, week two of NaNoWriMo. Yay. Last night a realization came to me. I have lots of thing demanding my attention besides this little story I'm writing. The little doubting voice in my head has listed them.
1. School! You have alot of work if  you're going to keep ahead, and keep your grades up! especially in spanish!
2. Play! you have a play going on and You're there pretty much every night.
3. Art! You have to keep drawing daily if You're ever going to be good. plus you still haven't done the tree thing.
4. Comic book! you have one moth to finish that comic book!! And you've barely worked on the second draft!
5. Your Ear! It's not just a minor problem, it's all icky and gross and infected and it HURTS! and is that pus? EW! and OW!
6. BookWyrms! you need to put together book lists! and get more people to come!
7. Story problems! This doesn't make any sense! Why are you writing this? your MC sucks!

As you can see, I don't much like the little voice in my head. She's very demanding. So, thanks for reading my rant. I must go, I need to do math. *voice* Math! You need to finish that soon! You have twenty lessons left!! CHOP CHOP!!* .... Thank you little voice you are ever so helpful. Bye Bri π

I'm not very inspirational.

Sometimes I want to get on here, and be all motivational. So I click, 'new post' and I sit there... and sit there... and sit there..... and nothing happens. So then I exit out of it, and I go do something else. Then I come back.I still want to be motivational, but I'm not. So I don't write anything. Instead I just keep being me, my non motivational self. But I keep wanting to write motivational speeches, and Motivate you guys to do what ever it is you want to do. I want to be the spark that ignites the flame of you being motivated. I want to be all motivational. But I'm not. So, I guess what  I'm trying to tell you is, don't ride ponies in the house.
