Not so (Bel)Easy

I am planning to go on a mission trip to Belize in a few years!!!! I'm really excited, because it sounds really interesting, and a good experience. Sadly, I need to come up with a large sum of money in order to go. So, I will be  Babysitting a lot over the next year or so, and probably selling jewelry and art as well. But I really want to go, so I will be working as hard as I can to get enough for me (and JJ) to go. I will be Babysitting for Belize!
In other news, My book club is going to start in about a week and a half. I'm rather excited, I need to contact people and remind them of it. I will do that later, as right now I am writing. So, did you all have a good christmas? I did! I got several action figures, plus some Doctor Who Lego dudes, which aren't actually Lego's, And a Art Model doll. I am quite happy. Later in the day we went to my grandparents house where we made a huge train track spanning the house. it was also fun. I got to see some of my cousins who I never see, so that was nice. and now I must go. My Math needs me. Bye Bri π

Snow

It smells like snow. Seriously, it smells like snow. you guy's are probably all looking at your computer screen right now thinking, "oh, sure... smells like snow... what ever you say Bri" well, it does smell like snow. What does snow smell like, you ask? well. it smells like cold rain and sort of like ice cream, if you took away the vanilla. Yeah, it's a terrible description, but thats what snow smells like. I finished My Sister's Keeper. It was sad. I didn't expect what happened. now I need a new book. I need Beautiful Redemption!! Anyway.... yeah... snow. I hope you guy's are prepared for the end of the world. It's tomorrow, if you didn't know. I'm quite sure that I would die. I would probably get eaten, or die of some illness, or just die of starvation, or something stupid. but hopefully you guys do better. I played Portal the other day. It was fun. I'm glad I'm not Chell. I would probably get stuck in a never ending loop of portal. I must go, my people need me. (replace that with, I need to go clean the living room) Bye my fellow Humans, I hope you don't all die!! bye Bri π

I can drive I can drive I can drive!!

I got my permit!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, That's right, I can legally drive with adult supervision. I drove the car around the neighborhood, striking fear into the hearts of mailboxes and light poles. I also ran into someones yard by mistake. Oh well.... But I drove the car. It was very jerky, and at first I didn't go over ten miles per hour, but the second time I went up to twenty. It wasn't as terrifying as I had expected. It was actually pretty cool, until there were other people driving near me. then I tried to take out some mailboxes again. But I survived, and so did my mom and the car. my parking was rather crooked, but the second time it was much better. Yay!!! I can legally drive now!
In other news, I'm going to read My Sister's Keeper for my book club. I plan to watch the movie after wards. I've been told it's really sad but really good too. So I will read it and probably cry, then I will watch it and probably not cry. But Yay! I can drive. Ok I need to go, I must clean things. It is a requirment. Bye!! Have a Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year!! Bri π

Off The Top Of My Head.

There was once a girl named Pickles. Pickles enjoyed singing in her house, where all of her family could hear. They truly loved Pickles singing, They laughed with joy and recorded it and hugged her when she was finished. Pickles really loved the attention. One day Pickles decided to go for a walk out side. As she was walking she met a boy named Fred. Pickles was amazed when she saw Fred. His Black hair and Green eyes where amazing, he was thin and strong, everything Pickles looked for in a man. Pickles went up to him, nervous she would seem silly, but she did. "Hi. I'm Fred, Whats your name?" he asked when she got up to him. "I'm Pickles." she said with a smile. Fred made a face. "who has a names their Daughter after Pickles?" he said. "well, my parents just really liked pickles I guess" she said, feeling self conscious about her strange name.  Fred shrugged "I guess. Hey, I'm going down to the Alley tonight if you want to come" Fred said To Pickles. Pickles was confused, she had never heard of the Alley before. She asked Fred what it was. "Oh, it's this club down in the city, it's real easy to find, just listen for the live music" he says. "so, you wanna come?" he asks. Pickles could feel her cheeks blushing, "sure" she said with a small smile. "I'll see you there" She said, turning to go back to her house, "Oh hey, by the way, it's open mic tonight, if you want to sing" Fred called over his shoulder. "I'll thing about it" Pickles said. Pickles ran home, thinking about how she would dress herself up. She ran  into the bath room and looked at her self in the mirror. She frowned. Her long platinum hair and blue eyes where a combination that not many liked. She would have to do something to make it look better. pickles brushed out her hair, letting it spike just a little. Normally she would have washed it, but to keep the spikes she sacrificed her cleanliness. now if only she could find some way to hide her blue eyes. Pickles looked at the clock. She had no Idea when she needed to be at The alley, but she figured she should probably be there soon. She ran out the door as her father was coming home from work, and she heard him yell, but she didn't hear what he said. she kept running, past the bushes, past the lawn gnomes, past the big blue box, and past all the other houses until she got into the town. She remembered what Fred had said. Listen for the live music. Pickles listened. and then she heard the singing. She followed the sound, until she came across a crowded alley. It was a sea of black, red, blond, and brown, even some mixed colors. on a make shift stage was a girl with mixed Colors in her hair, Calico style. Next to her was Fred, the where singing a duet. It was really good, They harmonized well. Pickles fought her way up to the stage, getting nasty looks from some people who saw the color of her hair and eyes. She ignored them, taking the blow inside. Pickles kept going, she should be singing on stage with Fred, not some Calico haired freak. Finally Pickles reached the stage, she jumped onto it and looked at Fred, Fred looked at her. "Oh, Pickles! You made it!" The Calico girl cleared her through. Fred looked at her, "oh, sorry, Pickles, this is Nikki, Nikki this is Pickles" he said. Nikki raised an eyebrow. "Pickles? That's an odd name" she said rudely. "Well, you know parents, they really do like silly names" Pickles said with a shrug. she looked at Fred. "Hey do You think I can sing?" she asked. "sure, go ahead" he gestured to the stage. Nikki sighed angrily, but got down from the stage. Pickles took her place on the stage, looking out at the crowd of glaring eyes. She knew what they were thinking, 'who let the Blue eyes on stage?' Well, she would show them. Pickles started to sing, and the crowd went silent with amazement. She was great. Pickles Sang proudly, projecting her voice as hard as she could. She felt so happy. Suddenly a shoe flew out of the window above her, slamming down on the stage and sending Pickles three feet in the air. she landed and looked up. An angry face was sticking out of the window. "Scram you stupid cats!"

The Most Important Lessons I've Ever Learned Were in a Car.

So I'm sure you've heard of random car lectures. They're something that I do with my dad in the car, where I ask him a question and we start having a conversation about it. The fun about random car lectures is that, they don't necessarily need to be lectures, just crazy conversations and activities done in the car.  here are some of the things that we have done during random car lectures.

1. How to create a zombie apocalypse.
2. How to make mythical creatures using virology and Genetics.
3. An explanation of how we are a steam punk society
4. How to pop a clutch and how it works.
5. Who would win: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles VS Marvel.
6. What would Happen if the Cullens(Twilight) were in the Hunger Games.
7. The Square Root of 6
8. Started singing 'Harry Potter Puppet Pals and the Mysterious Ticking Sound'
9. Bella Swan VS Katniss Everdeen.
10. What does Ject mean?

Yep. We are strange. Bri π

The Amazingness of my Birthday Present.

So Saturday was my birthday. Yay!! Happy birthday to me! I go a wacom art tablet.  SO COOL!!! I was playing on it for most of yesterday, before I was told to do my chores. After I did my chores then I was drawing with paper, because I still actually prefer drawing with paper. But I like a lot of the things I can do the tablet. I did one drawing completely with the art tablet, but I can't show you because it's not a JPEG, PNG or some other file type. Oh well. I need to go do school work, Bye! Bri π

A List of Books You Need To Read Before They Come Out On The Silver Screen

Ok, so a lot of really good books are about to get made into movies. So I'm here to make a list of them for you to know what they are so  that you can read them before you see it. :)

1. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Cassandra Clare
In Modern day New York, Fifteen year old Clary discovers a secret world coexisting with our own.
I have read this book and I absolutely loved it!! It's a little Violent at times, and aside from a few kisses not to terribly intimate, I rate it PG-13. the Movie is Rated PG-13.
2. Divergent. Veronica Roth
In Dystopian Chicago, Beatrice Prior mus make a choice that will define the rest of her life.
I really loved this book, It is, again, a little violent at times, and there are a few Passionate scenes, but it's still an amazing book. I rate it PG-13. This film is not yet rated.(most likely PG-13)
3. Beautiful Creature. Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
Not much happens in Gatlin, a small town in South Carolina. Ethan is waiting for the day when He can finally leave. Until he meets the new girl who in not what she seems.
I read this book, and it is very good, It's a little dark, with lots of magic and romance. There is some violence in it. I rate it PG-13.  This film is not yet rated. (probably PG-13)
4. The Hobbit. J.R. Tolken
Bilbo Bagins gets caught up in a very unexpected adventure.
I read it, but didn't really like it. I found it to be rather dull, but Other people might like it, so go ahead and read it. I do want to see the movie though. I rate the book PG. Movie is Rated PG-13.
5. Matched, Allie Condie
Cassia is very excited for her Matching Banquet. This is the Day when she finds out who she will be married to. Every thing is going great. Until she falls in love with the wrong person.
This is one of my favorite Books. Matched is such a beautiful story of a girl who tastes freedom, and can't get enough.I have actually done a full review on this book if you want to go look for it. I rate the book PG. This film is not yet rated.
6. Delirium, Lauren Oliver
Lena is counting down the days to her birthday. That's when she will be cured. when she will be safe. safe from what? The horrible illness, Delirum Nervousa. Love.
This book was pretty good. Not as good as some of the other books I have read but still pretty good. It's not to terribly violent, and not terribly passionate. It reminded me a bit of Matched except with out the poems. I rate it PG. This film is not yet rated.
7. Maximum Ride, The Angel Experiment. James Patterson.
Max and her flock aren't Human. They are 98% human. The other two percent is bird, And it makes a big difference. Love the Maximum Ride saris, until I got up to about the sixth book. and it all went down hill from there. But the Angel experiment is very good. it's a kind of Violent, but thats about it. I rate it PG-13. This film is not yet rated.
8. The Hunger Games:  Catching Fire. Suzanne Collins
The continued story of Katniss and her friends and family as they try to survive life in Panem and deal with what happened in the arena. I enjoyed it, it was pretty good, but the first one was better. I would recommend reading the first book, before you read the second one. It's violent, and there's a bit of kissing and drinking I rate it PG-13. This film is not yet Rated. (definitly PG-13)

Now on to the books that I haven't read, but plan to or am slightly scared to, read before they come out as movies
1. The Host. (Alien parasites take over earth) Stephanie Myers
2. Warm Bodies (Zombies who fall in love) Issac Marion
3. 13 Reasons Why. (a young girl gives thirteen reasons for her suicide) Jay Asher
4. Les Miserables. (The french revolution) Victor Hugo
5. The Forest of Hands and Teeth. (zombies) Carrie Ryan
6. If I Stay (A girl is in a fatal car accident) Gayle Forman
7. Shiver. (Werewolves who fall in love) Maggie Stievater
8. Uglies (a society where everyone gets Plastic surgery to become Preties) Scott Westerfeild

And that is the conclusion of my list. I hope you find something to read! Bye! Bri π

Disproportianate Man and The Amazing Steampunk Ninja Spider

Ok, this is an artist ranting about the disproportionate-mess of beefy dudes. Not a love struck girl complaining about how much she has a crush on some football player. so if you want drama, go watch TNT. now on with my Rant.

Ok so beefy dudes. One word. Proportion! Honestly! Normal dude: Regular head, slight V shaped torso, slightly muscle-y arms (if teenage boy: Lanky!) small curve at the stomach, and normal sized, (and if a teen-age boy: lanky!) legs. beefy guys: Tiny head, huge shoulders and neck, ridiculously obtuse torso, Huge, vein-y, muscle-y arms, and stick thin legs. Which one sounds more proportionate? If you said normal person, you would be correct! Now, I'm not talking about Guys with muscle-y guys. Some muscle is Ok. I'm talking huge muscles, like body builders, and certain super heroes, and Bodyguard/butlers. Ok, done ranting now. I've been watching to much Super hero TV shows.

So to day at rehearsal, I was doing my spider scene, being scary and spidery in my steampunk/eighties costume with dangle legs. So I have to run off stage. So as I am running off stage, while crouching, I step on one of my dangling legs. I, being my amazing ninja self, trip, bounce of of a bench, do a judo roll, and manage to land on my feet, with out ruining my bustle(Victorian skirt thingie) and that was my amazing ninja/spider talents.

Angry Taco Man.

Boredom can result in the most unusual of creations. Such as Angry Taco Man. Yesterday me and my sisters were making lunch and discussing Marvel super heroes (betcha didn't see that coming) we were acting out various characters, and the others had to guess who it was. at one point JJ was doing something really weird, and I yelled "Angry Taco Man" that wasn't the answer (I don't remember what she was supposed to be) but we all started laughing about the Angry Taco Man.

In other news, Thursday I'm going to see Breaking Dawn Part 2. I'm going to go dressed as a shadowhunter. If you can figure out why I'm going dressed as a shadowhunter, then you win an imaginary cookie. If not, then no cookie for you. Also I'm half way done with my NaNoWriMo story. Yay! It's coming along. (Note I didn't specify how it's coming along)

So.... Bored. So I'm going to leave you with a list of Random Amazingness.
1. Raw Cookie Dough
2. Gambit
3. Dragons
4. Divergent
5. Okapi
6. Avengers!
7. Tae Kwon Do

Why do I READ?

Once I was asked why I read. Seriously. Someone asked me why I read. They said "I mean, reading is great, but why do you read all the time? I mean you have to put down the book and see things sometimes." no duh. I read because I can escape. I can escape life. Just for those glorious moments, I can fade into a book and read. I can see anything. I could go to Brittan in middle ages, I could go to North America in the future. I could even stay right in this time, anywhere in the world. That's why I read. Because I'm stuck. I am here and there is no way I can not be here by my self. except by reading. Unless I can satisfy this need to explore and have adventure, I will read. Because nothing else satisfies me. I read. Because I feel stuck here, I read. It's why I write too, I can make my onw little world, where I control it, where I can give myself a glorious adventure, I can give myself anything I want. so yeah, to all those who don't understand why someone is always reading or why they bother writing. That's why. Oh, and a quick tip: Never interrupt some one while they are reading. Unless you have a death wish, just leave them alone. Bri π

The Suck.

So, week two of NaNoWriMo. Yay. Last night a realization came to me. I have lots of thing demanding my attention besides this little story I'm writing. The little doubting voice in my head has listed them.
1. School! You have alot of work if  you're going to keep ahead, and keep your grades up! especially in spanish!
2. Play! you have a play going on and You're there pretty much every night.
3. Art! You have to keep drawing daily if You're ever going to be good. plus you still haven't done the tree thing.
4. Comic book! you have one moth to finish that comic book!! And you've barely worked on the second draft!
5. Your Ear! It's not just a minor problem, it's all icky and gross and infected and it HURTS! and is that pus? EW! and OW!
6. BookWyrms! you need to put together book lists! and get more people to come!
7. Story problems! This doesn't make any sense! Why are you writing this? your MC sucks!

As you can see, I don't much like the little voice in my head. She's very demanding. So, thanks for reading my rant. I must go, I need to do math. *voice* Math! You need to finish that soon! You have twenty lessons left!! CHOP CHOP!!* .... Thank you little voice you are ever so helpful. Bye Bri π

I'm not very inspirational.

Sometimes I want to get on here, and be all motivational. So I click, 'new post' and I sit there... and sit there... and sit there..... and nothing happens. So then I exit out of it, and I go do something else. Then I come back.I still want to be motivational, but I'm not. So I don't write anything. Instead I just keep being me, my non motivational self. But I keep wanting to write motivational speeches, and Motivate you guys to do what ever it is you want to do. I want to be the spark that ignites the flame of you being motivated. I want to be all motivational. But I'm not. So, I guess what  I'm trying to tell you is, don't ride ponies in the house.

A Dare.

Today I went and saw my friend Lauren. She's in the hospital with Leukemia. This is her second time with cancer. While there, I took one of her permanent markers and drew on my arm an orange cancer ribbon. Orange is the color for Leukemia, like Pink is for breast cancer and Gold is for childhood cancer. So this week, all this week, I dare you to draw on you're arm a ribbon. keep it all week, through Halloween, and re draw it when you wash or it starts to fade. Research the colors and find one that a friend or family member has had and color it. I Plan to keep re drawing mine for as long as I can. I just want you to do it for a week. If you don't know anyone, then pick one or just leave it clear. But show your support for people with cancer, and not just breast cancer. All cancer.
Thank you, Bri π

Weakness of the Articles of Confederation

The Articles of confederation were written to create a government with limited authority. America wanted to make a country run by the people. (Articles of Confederation) However this didn’t work out quite as they had hoped. The articles of confederation had several weak points.

Under the articles of confederation, America did not have the power to: enforce treaties, make taxes, create national courts, regulate commerce between states, or call together an army. (Switched on Schoolhouse) so America had no money, no army, no proper treaties, no court system, and no trade between states.

Among the problems this caused, Congress was having lots of problems with other countries. Spain was trying to take more of Americas land than was agreed, and Brittan refused to follow our treaties, because congress didn’t have the power to make it work.
America was going into a depression because congress was bankrupt and did not have the power to tax or print money. Multiple states tried to take matters into their own hands and print their own money, which was useless in other states. (Switched on schoolhouse)
Our congress had no power, and was pretty useless. We actually did have a president at this time, before George Washington, president of congress John Hanson, but because he had no power no one knows him. (Hakim 148)
Because the articles of Confederation were so weak often when congress was called states wouldn’t send representatives, and at one point Rohde Island was functioning effectively as its own country.

So Congress got together and made the Constitution which has been running America ever since. It works much better than the articles of confederation. America has a strong Government with a checks and balance system that keeps every one in line. But, even with all of that the Articles of confederation did have some successes. Out of the mess that was the Articles came the North West Ordinance of 1787. This allowed there to be new states made North West of the Ohio River. Another success of the confederation was actually all its faults. It proved that America could keep its self together even through all the bad things happening and it because it was weak, it made the Constitution strong (Hakim 150)

One of my favorite storys.

Far away in the land of Elsewere, There was a girl named Percy. Percy lived in a beautiful garden, with lots of flowers and trees and fruits and vegetables. It was very pretty there, and Percy liked it. She lived there with her Mother, Demi, And they enjoyed life. One day while Demi was gone, Percy wandered around her garden and found a really ugly plant. It was really ugly. So it being her garden Percy said "Be gone Ugly Plant!" and started pulling it up. But that plant was a stubborn one. Percy pulled and pulled with all her strength. At last it finally came out. Percy was quite proud of herself. But now there was a great big hole in the middle of her garden. Percy frowned. "This will not do" she muttered to herself. So she went to go look for something to fill the hole. But the hole wasn't just a hole. It was a secret passage way to the under world. Where the dark king, Des, ruled. Des was not particularly happy that his secret passage way had been discovered. So he took his skeletal horses up to it to look at what had happened. When he got there, He saw Percy, With her long dark hair and pail complexion, and her fell in love with her. The impulsive king rode his horse out of the hole and grabbed Percy. Percy screamed at this. What is going on? she thought. She kicked and yelled but her mother wasn't back yet. since Percy did not know Karate or Tae Kwon Do, she did not know how to properly defend herself from random Kings on horses who come out of holes in her garden. She was taken to King Des's castle. Percy was very unhappy. She was locked in a room with no way out. And she was really hungry. She really should have eaten lunch. So grumpy and hungry, young Percy had a tantrum. King Des came to her room and Percy yelled at him. "Let me go!" The king got down on one knee. "I'm Hungry!" yelled Percy. The king pulled out a little box "Where is my mother?!" The king opened the box revealing a ring "Marry me, Percy" he said. Percy was quite stunned. She did not want to marry this king, who stole her from her home. She turned away from him "No" She said. The king stood aburtly. "Then you will stay locked in this tower until you do" and then he left. And Percy was still hungry.
She was hungry, really, really hungry. But she wouldn't eat any of the food the king sent her. She didn't trust him. Foods from the Underworld made you stay in the underworld, and she didn't think the king was above that. So she went hungry. For days she didn't eat. And along with the food problem was something else. Percy was a flower Princess, and there were no flowers here. She was quite depressed at the fact that she had no nature to comfort her. She look out her window and had a lovely view of the fields of horror. It really wasn't all that lovely. Percy was getting weaker each passing day, from lack of food and nature. One day a young servant came to her room bearing Pomegranate seeds. Percy groaned. Pomegranate was her favorite! And she was really hungry.... She grabbed six of the seeds and ate them. She savored each seed, so happy to have something in her stomach. The servant laughed, as he became taller, and darker. It was King Des! Percy screamed, throwing the left over seeds away from her. but it was to late. She had already eaten six of them.
Up above ground Demi was working very hard to get her daughter back. She went to the King Suez, The brother of King Des, and demanded that he get her daughter back. The king was slightly afraid of Demi, so he went with her to Des's castle to get Percy. When they got there The king had Percy in a black wedding dress, in his throne room. Demi Rushed up and grabbed her daughter, "Hold on buddy! I object to this Union!"She cried "Me too!" Percy said from behind her. Des laughed, "well you can't take her out of here, she ate my food!" Demi was shocked. "Percy, He's lying right?" Percy was ashamed of herself but she shook her head. "No I ate six pomegranate seeds. I'm sorry mother"
Suez, who had been standing there watching this little soap opera, said "you only ate six?" Percy nodded yes. "Well then I have a proposition for all of you. Since she ate six seeds she only has to stay here for six months of the year. The other six she can spend with you Demi" Nobody was particularly happy about this, but they agreed. So Percy stayed with Des for his part of the year. While she was gone Demi made it to cold for anything to grow, Because she was so sad about Percy. When Percy came back it was warm again. And that is why there is summer and winter.

To Post or Not to Post.

To Post or not to post? That is the question. Well I guess I'm posting this so it's more a matter of WHAT to post. I'm posting about posting? That's like, talking about talking. But what ever. I don't have any philosophical things to tell you, no funny story's or any thing really. Not much is going on. I'm bored. How about you? No? Life's Super interesting? Good for you. Well. Any one watch Once Upon a Time? I do!! I enjoy it. I saw Snow White and The Huntsman. It was pretty good. I want  to see Frankinweenie. It looks good. Glarg. Yes I just said Glarg. That is what I say when I don't know what to say. I'm excited for Halloween. I'm looking forward to carving pumpkins. I have some Ideas about what I'm going to do based on a recent discovery of awesomeness. It's pretty obvious what that discovery is, but not what I'm going to do. So who ever guesses is a good guesser. XD. Any way. Halloween is so much fun. I know not all of you celebrate it, But I love it. Costumes, spooky, Candy! I love it. Well I gotta go, Math to do, Spanish to read. Bye Bri π

I don 't really have all that much to say so sorry for the short post Bye!! Bri π

Post Script Script.

So does anyone know what P.S. actually means? It means post script. So when you say P.S.S. your actually saying post script script. When you should be saying P.P.S more P's not S's. Just a little lesson in what ever the heck that was.
I'm an easily bored person, if you haven't noticed, and thats why My post's are so scrambled. Yeah.......  LETS TALK ABOUT SPIDERMAN!!!!!! I've been reading a lot of spiderman comics, mostly because that's what I can get my hands on. Although I'm a little annoyed cause the website I read them on doesn't have the one I want to read. Which is really annoying, CAUSE IT WAS A FRICKIN' CLIFF HANGER!!!! It goes from 11 to 13.  Any way. I think I might reading The  Avengers next. Hey little bit a trivia, did you guy's know that Spiderman was on doctor who? Well sorta, Andrew Garfield was. I really like comic books. I also really like Marvel TV shows. I LOVE Ultimate Spiderman and The Avengers. There so funny. Last night I was watching Ultimate Spiderman, and Thor turned into a frog. It was really weird, but rather entertaining. Any one else watch those shows? Nobody? ........ *cricket*........ Ok. Well then. This is awkward and on that note,  Bye! Bri π

National Geographics.

I'm a teenage girl and my favorite magazine is National Geographic. That's a bit odd isn't it? I just like them, I don't know why. But I do. I have a huge box of them. I like to read them and look at the pictures and stuff. Plus they're good reference material. Any who...... so My sister was watching My babysitters a vampire (think it's stupid but she likes it) and they had a knock off Doctor!! I mean seriously? Doctor When? Not cool. But it does prove my theory that Disney has Whovian writers. I mean this is the second person dressed as and/or named for The Doctor. Speaking of Doctor Who, I'm going to be a Big Spider in Babes in toy land. So I'm going to be making lots of jokes about Racnos, and Spider-man. I think it might be fun being the bad guy even if I only have a couple of lines and I don't sing. (I don't think I do at least) I've never been a villain before. perhaps I'll be ensemble too. probably. And I don't mind cause then I get to sing too. Ok I gotta go, bye Bri π

Bri Pi's life tips.

1. Avoid accidentally drinking a bottle of lotion when groggy in the morning.
2. You will get wetter bathing one cat, than two dogs.
3. Extras in TV shows are idiots, no matter how much you yell at them.
4. When a girl is reading a book in front of you, I don't care how cute she is, don't ask her what she's reading.
5. Avoid talking to people with ear buds in.
6. When baby sitting a small child who only watches one show, accept that that show will be ruined from now on.
7. Speaking in third person makes you sound like a Russian villain,
8. Being a hipster is rather mainstream.
9. Tacky glue fails when wet.
10. Having random things in your purse does not make you MacGyver.
So here are some of my life tips, what do you think? What are your life tips? comment them, I'd love to read them! Bye Bri π

I Ffffffffolunteer.

Ok so I was at Cookies house and she had another friend over (her nickname is Butter) and we were talking and someone said something and I did the "I volunteer as tribute" Thing and Cookies sister JuJu was like "Bri! You said the F word!" I was really shocked because I didn't say anything bad. Then Butter said. "No she didn't" JuJu said "Yes she did, she said I volunteer as tribute" Cookie: "That doesn't have an F in it" JuJu: Yeah it does, I fffffffffffolunteer as tribute" We all started laughing. I found this very funny. And that's all I have to say. Bye! Bri π

A Regergitation of Random Thoughts.

Hey! How are you my readers? This is the part where you guy's say "I am fine thanks for asking" at your computer screen and your mom/dad/husband/wife/friend/sibling/random passer-by looks at you like your crazy. Any who. I don't really have anything to write about. My life is as uninteresting as, well, someone else's life. Unless of course that person was, I don't know, Katy Perry or Prince Henry, because every one's sticking their noses in their businesses.  Ok question. When you hurt your self or get really mad, do you make up a language that sounds a bit like the Swedish Chef? I do. I'm excited for Halloween. It's one of my favorite holidays. No that doesn't mean I sacrifice cats or worship demons and ghosts, it means I enjoy Costumes and free candy. I also like the decorations and creepy stuff. I'm just weird that way. I don't actually get to go trick-or-treating this year because I'm to old, so I'm going to stay at home with Nana and scare the kids who come to get candy in my weird costume. It'll be fun! Has anyone seen the movie "Coraline"? I read the book and it was really good!! I want to see the movie. I also want to see "Corpse Bride". since I saw "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and liked it I want to watch that one to and see what I think. Any way.... I need to go and do things that are actually productive instead of vomiting random thoughts in my head onto this page. Bye! Bri π

The "Ten-Pool"

Ok so you guys know my cousins are marvel fan's right? Well recently they've become whovians as well. Anyway, we were messing around out side when my cousin Blake said "let's play X-men. I want to be a combination of Deadpool and the tenth Doctor." I found this really funny. Then I came up with a name for this combo. Ten-Pool. So my cousin is a TimeLord/Mutant/Velociraptor/Crocodile. (The latter bits were added later, with more back story) And that is what happened yesterday. Just wanted to share! Bye! Bri π

A Thank You Note.

Today is 9/11. 11 years ago four planes where hijacked by suicide attackers, who where headed to The Pentagon, The Twin Towers, and the Capitol Building. Two planes hit the twin towers, one hit the Pentagon, and one crashed in a field in Pennsylvania after the passengers attempted to regain control.  I want to thank the Firefighters, the Police men, the Doctors, the Paramedics, and the Volunteers, who helped rescue and treat civilians after the attacks. And I would like to thank the the Solders in and veterans who where in Iraq, and Afghanistan. Thank you for keeping us safe and free. Thank You.

Weapon aginst evil, and muggers.

So I was listening to Adventures in Odyssey and it was talking about how the bible is like a weapon against Satin. So that got me thinking, with my messed up and disturbing little mind. What if you used it as an actual weapon? If you were getting mugged and you had a heavy bible in your bag, you could bash a guy's brains out with a Bible. I guess it's a little blasphemous to think that way, but I mean beaning someone with a Bible is better than getting mugged, or worse, right? I don't think the Bible means a literal weapon, but thats the way my mind goes. Any way, gotta go, going to go make a volcano, Bye Bri π

Back to the world of academics.

So, I'm back from my vacation to Florida. It was quite exciting, and i am sure you would all love to hear about it, so here we are with a lengthy retelling of all that happened from last Thursday to Sunday, in story form.

We drove all night, last night. All the way to Illinois. Then we found a hotel and slept. Quite boring to read about I'm  sure so I'll skip to the exciting parts. When we woke up we discovered we were in  Metropolis. some of you (The normal people) might say: They named a city, City City? And some of you (The geeks/nerds) might say: It's a bird! It's a plane! IT'S SUPER MAN!! We were in the home town of Superman. We wandered the streets, finding a Superman themed newspaper, a Superman Museum, a GIANT Superman statue, and (Oddly enough) a Thor themed Gym. It seems there are some Marvel lovers in a DC obsessed town. We went to the super man shop, in which we found quite a bit of Marvel merchandise,  Then we bought some souvenirs, that were Marvel characters. I got Wolverine. I was quite happy with it. Then we left the Superman town. and we drove. you really don't want to sit and read about me reading all day, so again I'll skip to the more exciting and non political stuff. the next day we went to a beach in Savannah, it was very cool, some kid caught a shark, I found a weird looking bird, and we saw hipster seagulls. Then we were off to Daytona. Daytona was pretty, the beaches were red, and we saw about a dozen rainbows, a couple over the ocean. We found shells, climbed light houses, saw family, wandered a very small mall, played in the ocean, and all sorts of things. At one point I caught a fish with my bare hands in a tide pool, It was rather exciting. then after a while we said good bye to the beach and went to Orlando. Again more driving, and Tada! Disney World! We went to EPCOT, and explored there, I bought a tiara, and confused an Italian dude with my horrible Italian. We went around the world in less than eighty minuets. and in Moroco, I found something. A Fez! It was so cool. I didn't buy it though because it was a bit expensive. so I put the cool fez back. Then we went to our Disney resort. We hung out there for a bit, then went to sleep. the next day I tried out for America Idol in Hollywood studios. I didn't make it. Partially because I had a cold, and partially because I'm not "Pop" enough. Then we shopped, went on rides, talked to cast members, and took an art class. I drew Grumpy the dwarf and every one ooed and aahed. Then I bought a cool top hat, Themed with The Nightmare Before Christmas, It is pretty awesome. I got it in honor of my Uncle. The next day we rode on a bus. Standing up. It was strange. But we got to our destination. Magic Kingdom. There we found Merida from the new movie Brave. We discussed Alaskan laws, and she informed us we were in Scotland/Florida. I must admit I had never heard of that country before. any way, we got her signature. I can't remember what we did after that, but at some point I Joined Captain Jack Sparrow's Crew. Then we dined at Tortuga, and Then became Peter Pans sisters. We rode several rides and watched fire works. And the next day we, went back to magic kingdom, and did more rides. It was fun. The NEXT day we went to Downtown Disney and went shopping. Then we drove home. Now I am back. Hello! Did you miss me? But i must go now as i need to do some school work. So bye! Bri π

(Im)Patiently Waiting for Wednesday.

Wednesday is when we leave for Florida. I"m rather excited. Four day's at the beach, then four at Disney. Yay!! I hope they have Merida from "Brave" she is now my favorite princess. Mostly from the archery as I have an extreme obsession with archers. (I.G. Katniss, Legolas, Hawkeye, Susan, Merida, Etc.) I'm going to start doing archery, along with knife throwing. I'm gonna be one deadly girl. Moo Boy, and others like him, had better beware. ;)

This week I was hanging out with my cousins. we went shopping, a lot. But we had fun. They only left yesterday and I miss them. They only stay for a week and it is not enough time at all. My cousin Kevin is still here. He's four/five years older than me, but whatever. I also miss my best friends, Neg and Cookie.

It"s hard to believe that summer is almost over isn't it? I mean all of my summer was taken up with the play. So it feels like it went by really fast. It makes me kind of sad. I love summer, it's so warm and I can swim, and camp, and all that loveliness. But now i just have two weeks left. Well, it was fun while it lasted. I have to go, but I hope you had a good summer. I'll probably post more often when school starts again. Bye! Bri π

The Mateing Call Of The Country Boy

So Me and Cookie were at a library in a farm-town sort of place to drop of some books.  Her mom starts talking to the librarians and we go over to look at the books. So there are like, three country boys sitting at the computers talking and as I pass by them one of them with long blond hair, spins around in his chair looks right at me, and say's "MOOOOO!!!" I sort of walk away quickly and am a bit startled at the fact I've just been moo-ed at. So as I walk away we hear him say to his friend with a bit of a country accent going on. "That's how I pick up girls at the library" evidently this is how country boy's flirt. First time I've ever been flirted with and the boy imitates a cow... well. Won't be forgetting this. Later me and Cookie were talking about it and we decided that Moo-ing is the mating call of the Country Boy. And That was the Highlight of my day (see? my life's not as exciting as it seems) If you are ever moo-ed at by a country boy he is apparently trying to flirt. Any way had to share. Bye Bri π
P.S. Comment your odd experiences with the opposite gender! Please keep it PG rated, though as little kids do read this. Thanks! Love to hear your story's.

Big Yellow Taxi at Sea World

Last year when I was at SeaWorld, it was pretty cool, the Shamu show was pretty awesome. I got to feed dolphins, and see animals I had only read about. But the thing I remember clearest, was waiting in line, and listening to the music that SeaWorld had playing and then they played a song that I absolutely love. But instead of being happy, I was laughed at the irony. The song was Big Yellow Taxi. I couldn't believe that Sea World would play Big Yellow Taxi. And I don't think anyone else noticed except me and my family. If you've never heard  Big Yellow Taxi, go look it up, it's a really good song and you'll see why I love it, since I'm a kind of Save-the-rainforest, Tree-hugging, Animal-rights kinda gal. And I'm pretty strict about people building stuff on perfectly good chunks of nature. (read "Why My Church Annoys Me") So that song is sort of my anthem. I was a little annoyed that SeaWorld would play it. I mean, "They paved paradise to put up a parking lot." That's just how I see it. I see a big thing made of metal and stone and wood, that destroyed a place I would rather be. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy SeaWorld, I did, but if someone had given me a choice between SeaWorld and a trip to the everglades, SeaWorld would not be my choice. what would you choose?  Bye, Bri π

Why my church annoys me.

My church is raising money so they can tear down a perfectly good field and put up a brand new fancy shmancy sanctuary. And it really annoys me. We have a perfectly good sanctuary right now, so why do we need a new one? We could use the money for stuff like, UNICEF, or the Food Pantry, or Samaritans Purse, or Out Reach International, or all kinds of things that could actually make a difference in the world than tearing down a field and making a pointless building. A church isn't some building, it's where you worship God. It's were you can sing about him and learn about him and all that stuff. You don't need a stupid building, you don't need chairs, you don't need a stage, or anything, all you need is a bible, and other people who believe in God. But does my church care? No. They just want their pretty, building so they can feel special. And that is why I don't like going to church, because our church is full of annoying people and their rude kids. So thank you for reading my rant, Bye Bri π

Book Review: The Adoration of Jenna Fox, Mary E. Pearson. Rated: PG-13

Jenna has just come out of a coma that took a year of her life away. Actually it's worse than that, it took her whole life away. She remembers nothing of her past, or of the accident that caused the coma. And no one in her family will tell her about it. What happened to Jenna that took her memory away? Jenna is determined to find out, but can she handle the truth?

This is an amazing book. Just amazing. It explores the ethics of future medicine, identity, and faith. This is a christian book, in my opinion. Lot's of christian values. It's beautifully written, keeping you reading. even though there is not any adventure, the mystery is gripping. This book is totally different from anything else I have read, It is thought provoking and leads you wondering what you would do in Jenna, or her parents place. How far would you go?

I rate id PG-13, but just barely. the only things I had a problem with was a bit of swearing, a scene were someone wear there pants very loosely, and a self defense scene in which someone gets racked, but other than that it's a very good book. Not much gore. some of the things that people do is questionable, but that goes along with the whole ethics and moral thing. no inappropriate elements besides, the scenes mentioned above, not even a lot of romance, except maybe two quick kisses, and one real kiss.

So I would suggest this to people who like mystery. A good age to read this, probably at least twelve, thirteen would be better. Not because of the swearing, but because it's, like Matched, rather mature, but not in the inappropriate sense. So thats my review, thanks for reading, Bye Bri π
Rated PG-13 for mild swearing and slight mature content.

Bannana?

I asked JJ what to write about and she said a banana. So here ya go. Banana's are good. Always bring a banana to a party. Ok done with banana's now. Now she says to write about the ceiling, well, it's blue. With clouds. I'm not outside, I'm in the basement and the ceiling was designed to look like the sky. um..... I'm listening to adventures in Odessy. Whit's identity got stolen, ooh..... well, not much is left to say. I want to do something a bit more interesting but i can't think of anything so, what ever. Bye, Bri π

Hey!!!!

Hi, sorry I haven't posted in a while, busy busy busy. Anyway, I'm getting a cat!! Yay! We thought it was a girl so I named it Tena, but Tena turned out to be Ten, meaning it's a boy. Oh well, I still love him. I'm getting him tomorrow, so I'm excited!! He's a brown and gray tabby, he's very pretty. And he likes me!!!! but I'm paying for his medical stuff (except getting him fixed) and so I'm a bit low on funds, I'm even using a gift card to walmart to pay for cat food. :P so.... this brings me to my next thing, I'm going to start selling my art :) I need the money for stuff, (like birthday presents, christmas presents, shopping trips with friends ;) etc.) I've already been commissioned by some people, and am working on their paintings as we speak ( NOT literally) I'm not taking commissions from here, but if i know you and you want a painting, then yeah!! talk to me! So that's whats going on now. bye I'll talk later, Bye Bri π

The Sailor's Prayer

Though my sails be torn and tattered
And my mast be turned about
Let the night wind chill me to my very soul
Though the spray might sting my eye
And the stars no light provide
Give me just another morning light to hold

I will not lie me down, this rain a-ragin'
I will not lie me down, in such a storm
And if this night be unblessed, I shall not take my rest
Until I reach another shore

If the only water left
Is but salt to wound my thirst
I will drink the rain that falls so steady down
And though night's blindness be my gift
And there be thieves upon my drift
I will thank the fog that shelters me along

Though my mates be drained and weary
And believe all hopes are lost
There's no need for their bones
On that blackened bottom
Though death waits just off the bough
We'll not answer to him now
He shall stand to greet the morning light without us
