Sherlock Holmes just crushed my dreams. But I can't tell you why unless you've read the book. I was reading The Hound of the Baskervilles and it crushed my dreams. So sad. I bet you guy's are really confused, I bet your saying "how did Sherlock Holmes crush your dreams?" I say "read the book even though it's really boring." It crushed my dreams. Boo hoo. I still can't tell you why though. I feel sick today, well I've felt sick al week but I feel even worse today. I have this weird taste at the back of my mouth, and my stomach is all gurgley, and I just feel blech. I have to finish The Sherlock Holmes book by two o'clock today, I only have like five chapters left but it is such a slow read. Blech. I'll continue this later I need to read my book. Bye Bri π
Huh, Irene Adler actually exists. Weird. I thought she was made up for the movie but aperintly not, She was actually a charichter in Sherlock Holmes. Sorry, just wanted to say that. Bye

I've never read Sherlock Holmes.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess: the book isn't as good as the movies? Seems like someone (maybe Nana?) told me that the Sherlock of the books is quite unlike most movie portrayals.
He's a little like in the movie, But it didn't crush my dreams for that reason. The movies are soooo (If I could this word would be in italics) much better. The Hounds of the Baskervilles was really boring, Sherlock Holmes wasn't even in half of it! Bri π
DeleteI have never seen the movie but the book was pretty boring. I did not like it as much as I would like.
