You Don't Bulldoze a Nature Park!

Ok so in part of Kansas (Shawnee), there's this school that's right next to a nature park. Well the school needs more land. They want to buy and bulldoze the nature park. I don't care what  your going to do with it, YOU DON"T BULLDOZE A NATURE PARK! They would use it to make a parking lot, (talk about paving paradise to put up a parking lot) and a base ball field, and some other things but I don't care if you need parking or sports fields or any of that crap. That land is home to lot's of animals and plant's that will be up rooted (literally and figuratively) And probably killed. Lot's of people go there for their recreation and you would leave them with out a park also. It annoys me so much when people just decide they can do what ever they fricking want with the earth. I think we have more than enough schools and base ball field, and definitly parking lots but we do NOT have enough natural land. I mean, we wiped out Missouri parries and we are still trying to bring that back up. People are supposed to take care of the earth, we are doing such a great job, what with all the litter, and bulldozing natural land and all that. And any congress people reading this. I don't care who you are or what you think is right for the people, But we will decide what we think is right for us. So fricking LEAVE US ALONE! And I will not apologize as I have freedom of speech.

  1. Why do they even NEED a baseball field? Homeschoolers don't need a baseball field next to their schools, it's like "come on kids! Let's go buy ourselves a nice, big, baseball field!" I mean, why don't they remodel the old ones and use those? If you ask me, The President should lower the education funds, and give the money to a other fund that needs it WAY more than education. Education has all kinds of money, but all they need is only like a pencil and paper! That's mostly what we use, you don't NEED a pack of crayons, or vending machines, or baseball courts. Really, what is their problem?

  2. Musical I totally agree. They should give more of the money to the Army because they are having like budget cuts and stuff. Or they could give some of it to the conservation departments. Both of these organizations need it more than the education does. I'm not saying that education isn't important I'm saying there are other, more worthy causes that need the money too. Education has got to learn how to share.

    1. They just cut some schools, why not go there instead of destroying the city park?

  3. Yeah, I have nothing wrong with learning and education, they've started getting hoggish about money. It's annoying really, I mean these people have risked their lives for their country, but after they become suvilians, they're the same as everyone it seems. Is there a article about this? If there was I sure would like to read it.

  5. I think that it's definitely sad to have a park torn down. But, none of the Government is swimming in cash, either. In fact, education is also having lots of budget cuts, and as a country, we're up to noses in debt! Yet another reason why it's a bad idea, I mean, that would be pretty expensive. The government's job is to protect the people from foreign and domestic enemies, so I'm not really sure if this is a national issue, so much as something for the individual cities and towns to decide on their own, with the votes of the people. Over all, I think that we shouldn't be messing with the nature park, cause it's unnecessary, and would be expensive (and it's always sad when your favorite park is torn down, any way). We as a country need to learn how to save money and avoid debt. You don't need nearly as much as you might think, in fact, in a lot of places, they're just happy to be able to buy lunch, we're not gonna die if we don't get a new parking lot when and where we want it!

    1. I still don't get why we can't just print more money. Why is our country so in debt if we can just print money?

    2. Because, if you print too much money, then it becomes worthless. Here, maybe this will explain:http://economics.about.com/cs/money/a/print_money.htm If this didn't help just search something along the lines of "Why is our country so in debt if we can just print money?" :)

  7. You all have good points but your missing something... What about the animals that live there? Not only will they not have homes they could get killed by the bulldozer! And not only will the animals suffer but people to! We kinda need trees to breath!!!! there is yet another reason you can't bulldoze the park.

  8. Yeah, that's a good point.I am more disgusted in killing innocent little baby's, I think that is just awful, it's murder in fact. Though, I am also disgusted in the killing of animals without any reason other than making yet another parking lot and baseball court. Both are horrible. It makes me wonder, what is the world turning into? Why is the world like this? It's terrible.Yeah, we really DO need trees to breathe! So do animals, plants, everyone needs air!
